Emma Pollet is a costume designer and storyteller originally from the New Orleans area. She recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Costume Design and a minor in Creative Writing. Recent design credits include Greene Bayou Films' short film The Keeper, which won first runner up at the New Orleans 48 Hour Film Festival, and Carnegie Mellon School of Music’s production of Der Kaiser Von Atlantis, directed by Karina Aviva. She currently works as the Philanthropy Coordinator at La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, California.
Her love for performing coupled with her ability to sew at a young age, which fostered her interest in costume design. Emma sets out to tell meaningful stories with creativity and care, which is strengthened in collaboration.
Emma aims to cultivate new work amongst passionate, playful, and imaginative creatives. In her free time, you can find her writing in a local cafe or taking photos of friends on her mom's film camera.
